New Year - New Me!

Monday - Friday
I will get up at 6am.
I will take my vitamins and eat breakfast.
I will excersize 30 minutes.
I will do a load of laundry.
I will play preschool with Dakota.
I will only waste 1 hour on Face Book.
I will watch less TV - use DVR.
I will schedule my work and work my schedule.

It is my goal to be a happier, healthier, and more focused in 2012. Cheers to a New Year and a New Me!

Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Sprint Center Sept 7-11.

Opening night at the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus was amazing! It was fun for the whole family. Mikayla 11, loved the Tigers. Brandon 9, was surprised there was a live band and amazed by the tight rope walkers. Tristan 4 laughed at the clowns dressed up as super heroes. Dakota 2 danced in her seat and was excited to see Dumbo. She had watched Dumbo every night for a week prior to the show and had to watch it when we got home! I really enjoyed all the acrobats and Ian was amazed they could fit so many motorcycles into the cage. It was a great family night. One we will cherish forever. Mikayla - Models on a Mission Fashion Show

Mikayla and I attend the Models on a Mission Fashion Show. All proceeds went to the Heart of Missouri United Way and the Joplin Humane Society. My cousin Tiesha Barber was the event coordinator and one of the models. She did a fantabulous job! It was a fun night. Visit Face Book Models on a Mission for more pics of the event.

Brandon - Bear Camp

Brandon and I shared some quality time at Bear Camp (Camp Nash - Baloo campsite). 2 days, one night filled with boy scout activities. He made a tool box, rope and pouch. He learned to set up a tent, shoot BB guns, archery, whittling, and much more. His favorite event swimming in the Priate ship. At the camp fire he and his den performed an invisible bench skit. It was hilarious! At the campfire they retired a flag. The ceremony was very moving and inspirational. Something we will never forget. Bear Camp was a great experience, looking forward to the next camping trip.

Uncle Aaron

Uncle Aaron came over to fix our air conditioner. He ended up fixing a few more things around the house and playing with the kids.

Mikayla - 5th Grade Promotion

So proud of Mikayla. During the 5th Grade Promotion she was recognized for 97% Attendance from Kindergarten to 5th Grade, Art Club, 5th grade Choir, and Journalism Club.
